thermal image of high voltage insulator with potential shortcut into insulator

Thermography of high voltage insulator. Color's progression from left to right changes from blue to green to yellow to red and despite the scaling is not displayed into this thermal image, the color change demonstrates an potential overheating condition. Local overheated condition at the insulator should be inspected as soon as possible for possible connection issues or insulation damage. A follow-up thermal inspection after repairs would be made to ensure that problem is solved and not an overload situation in addition of a damage one.
